Another Yankee pitcher that should have remained a Yankee pitcher... is now gone, mostly likely based on the Yankees unwillingness to engage them... or the player himself growing impatient. We'll find out soon enough. But there is no question, Yankee fans aren't too happy about Brandon McCarthy walking away from the Bronx.
Brandon McCarthy just signed a 4 year deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers. 4 years, $48 million. Is it a good deal? For McCarthy? Yes, it is. I'm not sure I would go 4 with him and I know the Yankees had no interest in going 4 with him, but now the Yankees have a serious rotation problem now.
Anyway, here's the report on McCarthy:

I really liked McCarthy with the Yankees. He was a good soldier and stepped up for us at a fragile time. The Yankees should have been receptive to that. It's a shame they weren't. I suspect the Yanks have other plans for a starter though....Max Scherzer. Stay tuned on that.
